WIP
Every once in a while I like to go through my WIP folder, take a line from each fic, and post it up on my journal. It gives me a nice way to look at the amount of stuff I have to finish, and occasionally gets people to kick my butt if they want to see something get finished. I haven't done this in a long while and my folder is huge. I really need to start finishing all of this stuff. Feel free to comment on any of these, kicks to the butt are extremely motivating.



DC

Batman Beyond Thing [Terry, Max] - Max's smile was either beatific or demonic, it was hard for him to tell.

Burn Epic [Tim, Kon] - Any story that begins with, 'I was playing with some matches,' isn't going to end with, 'happily ever after.'

Possible Boostle Sentence Challenge [Ted x Booster] - If there's one thing that Ted has learned about Booster over the years he's known him, it's that running from an ex-football player is a very bad and painful idea.

Possible Challenge [Tim x Cassandra] - Cass has always made Tim feel uneasy, something about a person who could read everything he tried so hard to hide; it isn't until she learns to speak that he becomes terrified of her.

Prequel [Kon, Tim] - Kon wakes up to the feel of pure fire coursing through his body and the stench of magic.

Sequel [Bart, Kon] - When Bart catches Kon talking to himself he can't help but think that maybe he's not just talking to some delusion his mind has conjured up.

YJ Sexpollen! [Tim, YJ x YJ] "You didn't deal with it," Robin repeated in his best approximation of the tone Alfred used when asking why there where shards where a very old vase or urn used to be.

Knight in Heels [Tim, Cassandra] - "You're having too much fun with this," Tim stood up from the chair and followed Babs out of the bathroom.

Fic 'o Shame [King Snake x Robin] - It was the only face the blind man could remember.

One Sentence Challenge [Hammer x Horrible] - Slashers were a menace, Dr. Horrible thought as he scrolled down the list of pairings, the fact that he was topping more often than not was only a small consolation.

Idiot Day [Shikamaru x Neji?, Kakashi] - Of course the man would be in a porn shop on Valentines Day, Hatake took not-really-frustrated bachelor to whole new levels.

Strength [Shikamaru] - Blood flecked lips stretching wider at the sight of Shikamaru bending over the medic’s shoulder, saying more than words ever could, “Fuck destiny.”

Poot [Lee] - "Your cat is eating the bones," Kiba looked vaguely horrified at that, though Lee didn't understand why.

1 Sentence [Chouji x Sakura] - "Baiken no Jutsu," is the only thing Sakura has to say to the flabbergasted kunochi.

1 Sentence [Shikamaru x Shizune] - Shizune had the prettiest eyes he'd ever seen on a woman, impishly tilted eyes that were more captivating than they had any right to be.

Survival [Sandsibs] - Tradition and PR aside, it's obvious that she and Kankurou are only there as a blatant and desperate attempt to control Gaara.

Getting A Head Ch. 2 [Hidan, Shikamaru] - Hidan was rather pleasantly surprised by Konoha's interrogation unit.

Getting A Head Ch. 3 [Hidan, Shikamaru] - Hidan had already chewed through Shikamaru's last hole filled shirt, and he wasn't about to risk having to go shopping for more clothes just to shut the asshole up.

Getting A Head Ch. 5 [Hidan, Shikamaru] - Dishwashers apparently had very good sound proofing.

Sleep [Gaara] - Gaara knows how easy it would be to just close his eyes for one second, just one, and wake up several hours later to utter destruction.

A Reason to Live [Kakashi, Iruka] - Thus the little fact that Iruka couldn't see anything at night was a bit of a problem.

Playing with Someone Else's AU [Sakura] - Sakura slept on completely oblivious as Raidou lifted the bundled girl up to carry her home.

Blame [Shikamaru] - It's in the way Shino flays Shikamaru more efficiently than an official reprimand of failure ever could.

Dancing [Gaara, Baki] - "Everything is a dance," the sword Baki held glimmered in the moonlight as he spun it in time with the music that filled the streets.

Alarm [Cast] - Aside from the random echoes of an exploding tag, the cacophony of barking, the endless chirping of bird --or was that a Chidori?-- the peacefulness of the day was broken only by the tolling of a great bell.

Facts [Gaara] - After all, what diplomat really wanted to take the time to discuss a better trade route with a man reputed to eat people when bored?

Bday [Sai, Naruto, Sakura] - Naruto's eyes slit into that familiar look and he says, "Neh, Sakura-chan, does this mean we're dating?"

The Thing About Authors [Shikamaru, Chouji] - Skinny didn't equal cute with Chouji, it equaled slow death by metabolism breakdown.

Rivalry [Sakura, Sai] - Sakura spars with Sai more often than not.



Gundam Wing

Zoo [Duo, Trowa] - Trowa shifted next to him going from a mildly attentive pose to a completely bored outta his mind sprawl that matched Duo's.

Hide Out [Duo, Trowa] - "I'd say that chow's on, but," Duo kicked the crate splintering it beyond repair and scattering it's contents, "there's no way to tell if it's fossilized or not."

Ripoff [Duo x Wufei, Heero x Relena] - Relena getting good at double agent thing, would be proud if didn't have to belly-crawl through rusted ducts to escape.

Scientist Baiting [Duo, G] - The boy looked so innocent the Christian god himself would weep at his own comparative lack of virtue.

Advice [Heero x Relena, Wufei, Duo] - Duo took a drink of coffee as Wufei deadpanned, "So, you come here often, baby?"

Chess [Duo, Wufei] - The King was the colonies, earth, the teeming mass of humanity that were labeled civilians.



Harry Potter

Trust [Draco] - Draco doesn't like the Weasley clan, he quite detests them thank you very much, but he does trust them.



Phoenix Wright

Flowers Prologue [Phoenix x Franziska] - The tulips had been yellow.

Flowers [Franziska, Miles] - The second letter came after a lengthy pause that Franziska found herself dreading.

Kink [Diego x Mia] - Diego knew he had to be the luckiest bastard in the world.

Cramps [Miles x Maya] - She looked up from the couch she was currently curled up on, but Miles "Don't-Call-Me-Edgey-Ms.-Fey" Edgeworth was still glued to his computer.

Drunk! [Phoenix x Miles] - "Wright, there isn't enough alcohol in the world to do that," although, if he tried Miles would be that much closer to being able to beg off for the night.

AU Thingy [Misty, Maya, Miles] - Maya's grip on her brother was the only thing keeping the girl from sliding off her cushion, and for once Miles wasn't protesting it.



Kingdom Hearts

Femme [Tifa x Aeris] - "Tifa," the woman offered one black gloved hand which Aeris met with her own.

Posse [Leon, Aeris, Seifer, Posse] - Leon didn't quite get how the responsibility of settling them in had landed on him, but he was fairly sure it was Cid's doing.

Good Morning Vivi [Vivi, Fuu, Rai, Seifer] - "You're late," Seifer pushed himself off of the wall and glared as Fuu and Vivi stopped in front of him.

Moving [Quistis] - Quistis knows the real reason they've moved.

Trinkets [Ollette x Quistis] - A few did ask --and mother had once called Quistis her living advertising board-- but mostly it was only Ollette.

Drinking [Seifer x Hayner] - "Yeah," Seifer's voice is slow and thick to his ears, and Hayner suddenly doesn't mind his weight anymore, "'gimme."

Indecency [Balthier, Cast] - Why a man born from another country would crumble to the Dalmascan sense of dress was a mystery that terrified Balthier to think of.

Kink [Ashe x Vossler] - "Quiet," Ashe orders biting down on the leather to muffle her own voice as she grinds down.

One Sentence [Zoro x Usopp] - Usopp understands why his father left them behind, it's the sea and everything it promises, because he felt the same pull when Luffy came; now, worlds away from sweet Kaya, Usopp watches a bead of sweat roll down Zoro's chest and feels like he understands why his father never came back.

Kink Meme [Paulie X Zoro] - Which meant Zoro was beginning to sober up.
